Reports out of Cleveland say the Chicago Cubs will interview Indians bench coach Sandy Alomar Jr. on Friday for their managerial vacancy.Alomar Jr., who has long expressed an interest in managing at the major-league level, meets with the Boston Red Sox on Wednesday.Both clubs are seeking new skippers after the Red Sox cut ties with Terry Francona and the Cubs parted ways with Mike Quade. Francona is considered a candidate for the Cubs job.Chicago has already interviewed Philadelphia Phillies bench coach Pete Mackanin and Milwaukee Brewers hitting coach Dale Sveum, and will interview Texas Rangers pitching coach Mike Maddux on Wednesday.
