According to Adam Rubin at http://proxy.espn.go.com/blog/new-york/mets/post/_/id/8221/green-day-looming relief pitcher Sean Green will be returning to the Mets very soon. Green has been on the disabled list since April 7th. Originally it was believed to have been a strained rib-cage muscle that landed him on the disabled, but it was actually a cracked rib. Green made one appearance before being placed on the disabled list. Remember, Green came to the Mets in the trade that sent away J.J. Putz.

I think it is going to be interesting to see how Green pitches when he returns. Who will go down? I think the odd man out will be Manny Acosta, if the return is before the rosters expand on September first. I think the next week or 2 will be an audition between some relievers to try and stay up.
