Joe Maddon and his cast of characters are at it again. The Tampa Bay Rays enjoyed another themed road trip as they traveled to Boston Monday for a two-game series that begins Tuesday. This time, the theme was to “wig out”. Players and coaches were encouraged to wear wigs on the plane. Any legit wigs were going to be donated to the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa. The Rays participate in multiple themed road trips per season to keep it light. They currently sit 5.5 games out of the American East and 3.5 back of the Wild Card. Pictures courtesy of TampaBay.com. Hellickson takes a step forward in second season

In Jeremy Hellickson's mind, he could have done more to help the Tampa Bay Rays on Sunday.
