Monday’s opener at the “friendly confines” of Wrigley Field had all the elements you’ve come to expect. Rainy, drizzly, windy, and hazy throughout, with gametime temperatures at a very comfortable 36 degrees. Does it get any better? Cubs fans singing that silly little song again. Ted Lilly put them in the mood by no-hitting a whiny, cranky Colorado Rockies lineup for 6 2/3 innings. Three relievers helped put the cap on a one-hit shutout.
