Dodgers Locker:
The Dodgers have signed 35-year old righty reliever Kiko Calero to a minor league deal. Calero pitched in 10 games (0 starts) in AAA-ball for the Mets earlier this season and he was 2-0 with a 10.59 ERA and a 1.94 WHIP. The Dodgers are looking past his struggles earlier this year in AAA because he has been a solid pitcher in the major leagues. Calero has pitched in 313 games (1 start) in his major league career and he is 14-12 with 7 saves, a 3.24 ERA and a 1.20 WHIP. The Dodgers are hoping that Calero might be able to help them out later this season and it was a nice low risk/high reward signing for them.
