It is up to newly-crowned general manager Jerry DiPoto to see what the eyes did not when evaluating his personnel for next year. His job will be to determine what value each and every Angel brings to the team, and to decide if the combination of their 2011 performance and their unseen value is worth rostering for another year. One player who will be under the microscope for next year is the much maligned and newly-acquired left fielder Vernon Wells, or as I like to refer to him, Optimus Prime.
