After flaming out in San Francisco, Brian Wilson is hoping to revive his career down the coast in Los Angeles. The Dodgers are just hoping the eccentric closer can provide some quality innings as the team fights for a playoff spot, but Wilson may have his sights set a little higher. Wilson tweeted a photo on Wednesday of his “state champion” little league team, coached by legendary Dodgers broadcaster Vin Scully and featuring himself alongside all-time Dodgers greats Tony Lasorda, Mike Piazza, Kirk Gibson, Fernando Valenzuela, Jackie Robinson, Maury Wills, Don Drysdale and Sandy Koufax. That’s one heck of a lineup. Check out the photo below (Wilson, of course, is the bearded one in the bottom right). Video Proof Brian Wilson Is A Los Angeles Dodger

In typical Brian Wilson fashion the newest member of the Los Angeles Dodgers confirmed the signing with none other than TMZ. Wilson is shown clad in an USA muscle shirt with his typical jet black beard and pony-tail mohawk walking on the streets of Los Angeles talking to a TMZ reporter about everything baseball. Welcome back Brian, we have missed you. Brian Wilson — ‘F**king...

Brian Wilson photoshops himself, Dodgers greats into Little League photo (pic)

New Los Angeles Dodgers reliever Brian Wilson appears to be trying his hardest to put his San Francisco Giants days well behind him and ingratiate himself to the fans who bleed Dodger Blue. But of course, he is choosing to do so in his typically offbeat manner. On Wednesday, video surfaced of the bearded baddie [...]The post Brian Wilson photoshops himself, Dodgers greats into Little...

New Dodgers Closer Brian Wilson Proves he is Still One Weird Dude

Former San Francisco Giants turned Los Angeles Dodgers closer Brian Wilson definitely walks to the beat of his own drummer. He proves that everyday with that epic beard of his his. The spandex tuxedo is a pretty good indicator. His 'date' with a Sasquatch is pretty telling as well. As the latest piece of evidence we have this--his photo-shopped image of a special Dodgers...

Brian Wilson: Hate Him Now, But Love Him Forever

Former San Francisco Giants closer Brian Wilson, signed a Minor League deal this past Tuesday (July, 30) with the Rival Dodgers. This had all the Social Media outlets going crazy, people wishing bad things on Wilson (myself included, before I took a step back) hoping that his career ends before it starts back up etc.  I didn’t think much of this, people are upset and rightfully...

Red hot Dodgers add former Giants closer Brian Wilson to bullpen

On the same day that the Los Angeles Dodgers earned their second consecutive walk-off victory -- this time on a thrilling ninth-inning single by second baseman Mark Ellis in a 3-2 interleague win over the Yankees -- the team also signed free-agent reliever and former nemesis Brian Wilson to a one-year contract. The deal is reportedly for $1 million. Wilson, 31, recently has been...

Making Moves: Deadline deal, Wilson & Felix signed, Ozoria & Taylor promoted

Captain BlueBeard

Brian Wilson is a Los Angeles Dodger. That doesn’t make me angry, just sad.  I hate to see any great Giant to go on to wear the Dodger Blue, but him especially.  I could handle him on just about any other team than the Dodgers. Well, I’d hate to see him on the Cardinals.  Or the Braves for that matter.  And the Angels definitely would suck, because it’s still L.A.  And...

Michael Kay Interviews The Great Vin Scully

There’s no better sportscaster in sports than Vin Scully. The voice, the hair, and the fact that he has been calling the Dodgers since 1950 certainly don’t hurt that decree. Before the game between the Dodgers and Yankees last night, YES Network’s Michael Kay sat down with Vin Scully and talked to him about his life, baseball, and everything in between. You don’t want to...

Vin Scully calls a Mariano Rivera save and it's wonderful

The Yankees were visiting Los Angeles for an interleague series with the Dodgers which gave us a rare chance to hear Vin Scully call a Yankees game.  Last night, the Yankees were up 3-0 in the 9th which meant a chance to hear the greatest announcer in the game call the game's greatest ever closer on his grand retirement tour.  Thankfully, MLB has made the entire bottom of the...

With Leather’s Watch This: Baseball Fans Still Don’t Know ‘Trader’ From ‘Traitor’

One of the little nuggets of worthlessness that was dropped around the Major League Baseball trade deadline was that the Los Angeles Dodgers, in a mostly risk-free/high-reward move to bolster the bullpen, signed former San Francisco Giants closer Brian Wilson. Of course, Wilson hadn’t pitched since April 2012 before he had to undergo reconstructive surgery on his elbow that has...

This Video Of Vin Scully Calling Mariano Rivera’s Save Against The Dodgers Is Baseball Porn

Last night Mariano Rivera closed out the Los Angeles Dodgers at Chavez Ravine. Mo is retiring after this season, so every time he travels to a stadium on the road, it acts like a stop on a farewell tour. The latest stop on Mo’s Farewell Tour became that much more special with Vin Scully calling Mo’s final save against the Dodgers. Mariano’s mastery on the mound and Scully...
