This seems very odd to me, I know the Mets would like to bring in a Japanese pitcher and would like to change the lefties in the pen but a 40 y/o rookie doesn't sound appealing to me and if reports are accurate it sounds like they see him as a starter which sounds even worse......I'm all for ...
