Brad Bergesen headed to Japan to play for Chunichi Dragons
The Arizona Diamondbacks have sold the rights of right handed pitcher Brad Bergesen to the Chunichi Dragons. The Dragons play in Japan’s Central League and will welcome the 27-year-old who has appeared in 102 games for the Diamondbacks and Baltimore Orioles.
Bergesen has a 4.61 ERA in the major leagues to go along with a 1.39 ERA and a 19-25 record.

Orioles RHP Bergesen loses arbitration case
The Baltimore Orioles defeated righthander Brad Bergesen in salary arbitration on Thursday.
Bergesen will receive $800,000 in salary this season - as opposed to his request of $1.2 million. The victory in salary arbitration gives the clubs a 3-2 lead over the players this year.
The 26-year-old Bergesen, who made $434,000 in 2011, posted a 2-7 mark with a 5.70 ERA last season.
