Giants activate INF Abreu from DL
The San Francisco Giants have activated infielder Tony Abreu from the 60-day disabled list and optioned infielder Nick Noonan to Triple-A Fresno.
The Giants also transferred right-hander Ryan Vogelsong to the 60-day disabled list with a broken hand. He had surgery after breaking several bones in his pitching hand while batting against the Washington Nationals on May 20.

Dodgers Designate Bobby Abreu For Assignment
It appears the journey for Bobby Abreu as a Dodger has come to an end. Today the Dodgers announced that Abreu has been designated for assignment, further infuriating fans around the league. I’ve been calling for Uribe’s head on the chopping block for quite some time now, to keep Uribe on the lineup over Abreu shows a huge lack of accountability in my opinion.
