Yes, Anderson Silva has done everything he needs to do in MMA. Hell, he’s done more than he needs to do in MMA, but that doesn’t change the fact that a hungry east coaster by the name of Chris Weidman has been calling for Anderson’s head and belt for almost a year now. Sure, the hype is there, created by the media, the UFC, and by Weidman, but Anderson knows that Weidman is dangerous, and anything can happen, but at 9-0 and on a year-long layoff, the fortune swings in his favor.
Yes, Chris Weidman is a very dangerous man. Yes, Anderson Silva is the greatest ever. We’ve been over this story for the last year, so here’s what Anderson said on todays 162 conference call:
