Hardy snaps his four fight losing streak by defeating Duane ‘Bang’ Ludwig in the first round.
In the opening exchange Hardy was momentarily stumbled by a Ludwig right hand over the top. Hardy using the clinch staves off any 
forward threat by Ludwig, pressing Ludwig into the cage. As the fight came off the cage both fighters looked to trade, with no punches of consequence landing. Ludwig fired off a right high kick, just missing the mark flush. Hardy temporarily shot for the takedown,which was defended very well by Ludwig pummeling for underhooks.
Once again off the cage, both fighters again met in the center to fire, Hardy coming forward lands his money punch, the lead left hook dropping Ludwig. Hardy caught up in the moment prematurely celebrates, before diving down on Ludwig. Three heavy elbows later and fight is called.
Hardy appears to have his mind in the right place, training out of Las Vegas with UFC title challenger, Frank Mir. What is next for the “Outlaw”?
