You can run, but you can’t hide. However, if you manage to hide, you can’t do it forever – that is if you were to ask Johny Hendricks (pictured).  Although Hendricks faces the toughest test of his career when he meets former interim welterweight champ Carlos Condit at UFC 158, “Bigg Rigg” just can’t seem to get past the fact reigning 170-pound king Georges St-Pierre is “ducking” him. “I gotta get past Carlos Condit,” Hendricks stated during Wednesday’s media workouts. “Once I do, it’s GSP time. If I beat Carlos Condit, nobody’s in my way. GSP can’t hide forever. “I think after this one, if I beat Carlos Condit, it’s GSP.” Hendricks was initially slotted to fight Jake Ellenberger Saturday in Montreal, but couldn’t pass up the opportunity to jump the line and replace an injured Rory MacDonald to battle Condit in the show’s co-featured attraction. However, the wrestler turned slugger believes he should be fighting St-Pierre for his crown in the main event had GSP stepped up to the plate. Instead, St-Pierre requested and was granted a scrap against bitter rival Nick Diaz, who is fresh off a year-long marijuana suspension. “Maybe he didn’t feel comfortable enough to take a tougher fight,” Hendricks expressed of St-Pierre calling for Diaz. “I don’t know. I don’t know what’s going through his head. I just wish he’d tell me.” It’s believed Hendricks will advance to a championship affair should he beat Condit. At the same time, UFC president Dana White previously dubbed the 29-year-old the welterweight top contender after putting Martin Kampmann to sleep in November only to change course shortly after. Hendricks gets another chance to submit his next dibs application this Saturday inside Bell Centre in Canada.
