Just because Kenny Florian (Pictured) decided to hang up his mixed martial arts gloves last week, that doesn’t mean the former UFC star will be heading to the retirement home anytime soon. Florian started planting the seed for his post-fight career many moons ago, which he has now parlayed into an analyst gig on FUEL TV’s UFC Tonight show.
During this week’s episode, several of Florian’s friends and family collaborated in a tribute video wishing him well in his new endeavors.
UFC welterweight king Georges St-Pierre, former light heavyweight champ Rashad Evans, trainer Firas Zahabi and many others offered up plenty of encouragement and advise, but, as the old adage goes, father knows best.
“My only advice to Kenny on his retirement is to lay off alcohol, tobacco and wild women in the event they kill him,” Agustin Florian jokingly stated.
Well, pops is only correct on two of three counts here. Has Agustin not seen the scantily-clad talent scattered throughout UFC events???
