GETTING THE CALL
A social media movement tried to get Mark Hunt into UFC 160 as a replacement for Alistair Overeem, and it appears to have worked.
After his destruction of Stefan Struve, Mark Hunt wanted a top 5 opponent. Dana claimed on twitter that Hunt turned down a fight with JDS, which Hunt quickly said was ridiculous. We all know this had to be about the money. Then Dana tweeted that he and Hunt had a great conversation and now we have another great HW matchup on the card at 160. Maybe it’s not Alistair VS JDS...

“I want in troops and only the boss @danawhite...
UFC 160 is minus “The Reem” but plus Mark Hunt now. Not so sure how I feel about Hunt’s chances against JDS though.

According to Ariel Helwani Dana White said that fan favorite Mark Hunt turned down a fight with former champ Junior Dos Santos after JDS’s previous opponent, Alistair Overeem had to pull out due to injury.
