With the recent fiasco UFC heavyweight Matt Mitrione brought upon the UFC with his transphobic comments, the organization has decided to release a new ‘fighter conduct policy’ in hopes that these situations will no longer occur in the future. The code of conduct is expected to educate fighters to adhere to the standards set by the organization.
The Code of Conduct is available below:

Mitrione’s comments on The MMA Hour were particularly offense in nature and easily caught the UFC’s attention, forcing them to suspend his contract pending further investigation.
“He’s chromosomally a man,” Mitrione said on the show. “He had a gender change, not a sex change. He’s still a man. He was a man for 31 years. Thirty-one years. That’s a couple of years younger than I am. He’s a man. Six years of taking performance de-hancing drugs, you think is going to change all that? That’s ridiculous. That is a lying, sick, sociopathic, disgusting freak.”
