Wanderlei Silva ***** his head to the side, letting Rich "Ace" Franklin know that he means murder at yesterday's pre-fight presser in Brazil
With two UFC events in two days it's been fun catching up with all of the audio and video across the world wide world to say the least. Fun being the key word. Once it stops being fun, then it's not worth it anymore. I'll be honest with you, it's been interesting seeing the uproar from many in the MMA community in regards to these two cards being "weak" or UFC 147 being a "lame" card. Sure, 147 may not be worth your money, if you are an American fan like myself but it sure will be worth your time if you are a fight fan. Get out of your house and hit up a bar, (I know a lot of you will be pirates for a night and I can't hate on that) or invite over five friends, order a pie and chip in 10 bones each. Silva vs. Franklin II is a great fight and will hold historic value. Plus these legends/fan favorites deserve to headline, I don't care if they are in the twilight of their careers or not. If you're like me and you've only seen a little bit of TUF Brazil, this is your chance to be introduced to a really nice cast of young talent that isn't going away any time soon. That's my mini-rant and I'm sticking too it.
