Remember in that episode of “Friends” when Monica’s boyfriend, Pete, was preparing to make his Ultimate Fighting Championship debut against Tank Abbott and Monica wanted to reward him for his hard work with some sex, but Pete’s trainer, Hoshi, shot her down by stating, “No boom boom before big fight”? Well, freshly-crowned UFC bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey (Pictured) takes the completely opposite approach as she preps for battle. And let me tell you, her past boyfriends were put to task. However, I’m pretty sure they never complained and I know nobody is feeling sorry for them. “For girls, it raises your testosterone, so I try to have as much sex as possible before I fight, actually.” Rousey said on Jim Rome on Showtime. “Not with everybody, I don’t put out like a Craigslist ad or anything, but if I got a steady I’m going to be like, “Yo, fight time’s coming up.’” The only time Rousey denies her companion is on game day. At that point, it’s strictly business and she needs to conserve all of her energy for the cage. “You can’t [expletive] somebody and go fight that day,” Rousey deadpanned. It’s unknown if Rousey’s testosterone theory is true, but the “Rowdy” one boasts a perfect 6-0 mark en route to making UFC president Dana White eat his words by finally allowing women to enter his Octagon, so the proof is in the sexing. The bad news for Rousey’s boyfriend, if she currently has one, is that there is no timetable for when she’ll be making her big league debut.
