The UFC on FOX 4 fight card gets a big boost with the addition of four fights to the August 4th event. UFC officials announced the new bouts earlier on Tuesday.

Mike “Quick” Swick (14-4) makes his return to the Octagon after battling injuries for the past two-and-a-half years. He last competed at UFC 109 where he was submitted by Paulo Thiago. Swick will square off against DaMarques “Darkness” Johnson (15-10) in a welterweight battle. Johnson, an Ultimate Fighter 9 veteran, has been alternating between wins and losses over his last six bouts. He looks to rebound from a submission loss to John Maguire at UFC on Fuel TV 2.

Grispi (14-3) also returns after an extended layoff. A WEC import, Grispi saw his ten fight winning streak come to an end when he transitioned to the UFC where he dropped his first two bouts. He will face Pablo Garza (11-3) in a featherweight match-up. Garza will be looking to put an end to a two fight skid.

Featherweights Nam Phan (17-10) and Cole Miller (18-6) will square off in an intriguing bout with bout fighters looking to get back in the win column. Phan looks to get back on track after dropping three of his last four bouts since coming to the UFC. Miller, a submission specialist, has gone 3-3 during his last six contests.

Finally, another featherweight bout pits Manny Gamburyan (11-7) and Michihiro Omigawa (13-11-1). Gamburyan, a former WEC featherweight title challenger, will be looking for his first win in the UFC in his third attempt. The tough veteran Omigawa was most recently outpointed by Iuri Alcantara at UFC 142 in January.

UFC on FOX 4 is expected to take place from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. The event is headlined by a hard hitting middleweight clash between Brian Stann and UFC newcomer Hector Lombard.
