Chael Sonnen is as confident as can be entering Saturday’s heavily-hyped rematch against UFC middleweight king Anderson Silva (Pictured). Unfortunately for Chael P., the Gambling Gods don’t think he’ll be leaving Las Vegas with the hardware.
Silva remains a 3-to-1 odds-on favorite to post his 10th successful title defense in tonight’s main event. Uncle Chael, on the other hand, checks in as a +220 underdog to dethrone “The Spider.”
Speaking of longshots, Tito Ortiz is nearly a 2.5-to-1 underdog in his trilogy with Forrest Griffin.
Tonight’s show takes place inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

I don’t think there is anything more ridiculous than hyping a UFC weigh-in…unless it is Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen weighing in. Chael is certainly in Anderson's head but it was Silva whose shoulder was in Sonnen's face Friday at the UFC 148 weigh-in and had to be restrained by UFC officials. Related posts:

It seems UFC president Dana White gets asked the same questions after every Anderson Silva (Pictured) or Jon Jones victory – ‘You always claim to give fans the fights they want, will Jones face Silva now?’ or ‘Silva has already cleaned out the middleweight division, when will he challenge Jones for his light heavyweight title?’
