Remember when Demian Maia first entered the UFC's middleweight division? How could you forget. He submitted the first five men that the company locked him in the cage with. The crafty Brazilian even took home four submission of the night bonus checks for his work. The dust has settled and once again UFC fans were treated to a highly entertaining night of fights. A main card that featured six bouts completely delivered in every fight. Five out of six fights on the main card ended without the need for the judge’s scorecards.
Anderson Silva came to Brazil, he saw, and he dominated. Silva earned his sixteenth UFC win at UFC 153 with a brutal win over Stephan Bonnar. The strange main-event was every bit a mismatch inside the octagon as it was on paper.
