Bellator premiered last night on Spike TV with two outstanding title fights as well as an unexpected upset on the main card. Pat Curran earned a split decision win over ‘Pitbull’ Freire to retain his featherweight title in the opening bout whilst Michael Chandler dominated Rick Hawn for the better part of two rounds before submitting the Olympic Judoka late in the second.
