Swedish striker Alexander “The Mauler” Gustafsson faced a huge challenge when he took on UFC veteran Vladimir Matyushenko at UFC 141. Matyushenko started off strong but the young up-and-comer Gustafsson proved to be too much for the Russian, as “The Mauler” downed him with thunderous strikes.

Today the Nevada State Athletic Commission issued the mandatory medical suspensions following last weekends UFC 141 event.

Alexander Gustafsson scores first knockout of the night at UFC 141
After a night of decisions, Alexander Gustafsson scored a first-round knockout of MMA veteran Vladimir Matyushenko at UFC 141 on Friday night.
