PLAYERS:
Danica Patrick
Now that everyone has had time to get the ‘Danica sits on the pole’ jokes out of their system, we can check out how America is really reacting to her winning the pole at Daytona.
After becoming the first woman to ever achieve this, ESPN went nuts with the coverage. Twitter didn’t take too kindly to that. We saw threats, anger and a general lack of caring for Danica’s big accomplishment.
Like, how can somebody be this mad over NASCAR? Check out this tweet from a very angry young lady, @Jen1499: Cannot stand that no-talent c*nt Danica Patrick! Hope she ‘Earnhardt’s’ the wall next week. Don’t like this tweet? Feel free to unfollow!
Wishing death upon her for winning the pole? Way to be reasonable @Jen1499.
