Clint Bowyer has joined Jimmie Johnson in being locked in for a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series chase spot. Matt Kenseth, who won at Bristol, is ensured of being at-least a wild card. Kenseth, with five wins, would be the top seed in the Chase if Johnson fails to win at Atlanta or Richmond. The top ten drivers and two drivers with wins/points earn a spot in the chase. Currently Martin Truex and Ryan Newman would be the wild cards at this point. There are two races left before the Chase starts.
