In 2013, JGR was able to match their record with a one-two-three finish at Darlington Raceway on May 10. The organization won both Nationwide Series events at Dover in 2012, and aims to make Saturday their third consecutive win on the one-mile track.

Brian Vickers on Dover: “I’m really looking forward to getting back to Dover this week. I haven’t been to Dover in a Nationwide Series car in quite a while, so I’m excited to get back behind the wheel there. I’ve had a lot of success at Dover, including a win in the Nationwide Series there. I honestly thought we would be further up in the points race and have more wins and top-five’s at this point in the season, but there have been a few races where we’ve not gotten the finishes we deserved. I really enjoy racing at Dover, and I know with Joe Gibbs Racing’s success in the Nationwide Series there, we are hungry for the win this weekend. This week we are focusing on steering clear of mistakes and going home with a win.”
