Roush Fenway’s Carl Edwards won Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway after the race was stopped with two laps to go because of rain. “We’re in the Chase and we’re going to go out and win this championship,” Edwards said. “I can’t believe we turned this thing around. We were terrible Saturday (in practice).” Edwards triumphed even after sitting through a two-hour delay at the beginning of the race as well as a three-hour, 19-minute red flag for even more rain during the event.
