There’s a Danica Patrick car next to a Richard Petty automobile at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum and Hall of Fame. As I toured the facility at the Brickyard a couple weeks ago I was taken aback by the apparent irony and sense of humor the museum has done for it this. Well, as you might be reminded from the picture above, Danica Patrick won an IndyCar race in Japan in 2006. She just hasn’t won a NASCAR race, Cup or Nationwide, or won a race stateside. She really hasn’t even come close in recent weeks. This season has gotten off to a brutal star for her, with 14th being her best and only non-disastrous showing.
