FORT WORTH, Texas -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. doesn't mind complaining on his radio during races. The veteran NASCAR driver admits that he possesses a bad temper in the car and needs to cuss at someone when things aren't going his way.
Saturday night at Texas Motor Speedway presented a few of those moments. Earnhardt's No. 88 Chevrolet team decided to run a different setup for the Samsung Mobile 500 and the driver was not a fan of how his ride handled.
"It was the worst," Earnhardt told reporters after the race. "It's absolutely incredible. I really feared I was going to wreck the car. There was a couple times where the car got so sideways that it was near the point of no return."
But the 37-year-old saved it each time, allowing him to earn a 10th place finish, his 11th top 10 in 20 Sprint Cup Series races at TMS.
