Kyle Busch stayed out of trouble to win fellow NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Tony Stewart's dirt-track charity race Wednesday night at Eldora Speedway. Wrecks reduced the 26-car field to 15 cars for the final 16 laps of the Prelude To The Dream on the half-mile oval owned by Stewart. Kasey Kahne was leading until he hit Bobby Labonte in Turn 3 after Labonte spun out. Busch was running second at the time, and took advantage for his first Prelude victory after four top-five finishes. Stewart, the defending Sprint Cup champion, finished second. Twenty-six drivers, including 14 from the Sprint Cup series, competed in late-model stock cars in the 40-lap event that benefited Feed The Children with the net proceeds from the HBO pay-per-view telecast. Feed The Children also will send a food truck to the hometown or a city of choice of the top-10 finishers. The event has raised more than $3.5 million for various charities since its inception in 2005.

Kyle Busch ready for Pocono 400 (interview)

The list of racetracks where Kyle Busch has yet to win in any of NASCAR’s top three divisions – Sprint Cup, Nationwide, and Camping World Truck – is not long. In fact, there are only three left on that list – Martinsville (Va.) Speedway, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and Pocono (Pa.) Raceway, the site of Sunday’s Pocono 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race. NASCAR: Will Kurt Busch Ever Grow Up?

Kurt Busch is a head case. We all know it. What we all wondered after last year was whether or not he'd sober up after losing his plum ride with Penske Racing and being relegated to a B-level (at best) ride with Phoenix Racing, previously best known for creating a shocking win at Talladega in 2009 for Brad Keselowski, who incidentally occupies Busch's former place as top...

Addington looking for consistency with Stewart

Steve Addington insisted he's not naturally drawn toward working with volatile, abrasive drivers. It's just the nature of job in the Cup garage. ''Somehow it works out that way,'' said Addington, laughing. ''That's just part of it. You just take what opportunity is there. I've worked with a lot of great drivers and I feel like I'm with...

For Stewart, Prelude is perfection

Tony Stewart has won the Prelude to the Dream three times. He shares his thoughts about the "perfect night" at Eldora: I've been fortunate enough to win the Prelude three times, but those wins aren't what make the Prelude a perfect night. In 2007, I actually got caught up in a wreck and couldn't finish the race. I immediately got on top of my hauler and watched...
