photo credit:  getty images LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Matt Kenseth gave himself a birthday gift Sunday in Las Vegas. Kenseth held off Kasey Kahne in a 26-lap green-flag run to snag the Kobalt Tools 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.   The win marked the 25th career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series victory. Kenseth, who turned 41 Sunday, became the third driver in series history to win on his birthday. Cale Yarborough pulled it off twice, and Kyle Busch has also scored a birthday win.   Kenseth crossed the finish line .594 seconds ahead of Kahne, who was followed by defending series champion Brad Keselowski, Kyle Busch and Carl Edwards. The rest of the top-10 consisted of Jimmie Johnson, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Martin Truex Jr., Kevin Harvick and Paul Menard.   Johnson leaves Las Vegas as the series leader, five points ahead of Keselowski and 10 ahead of Earnhardt.   The victory was Kenseth’s first in the #20 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota, after an offseason move from Roush Fenway Racing.
