It was confirmed today via Twitter that Max Gresham will return to the Eddie Sharp Racing (ESR) Camping World Truck Series team. He will drive the #8 Made In The USA Brand Chevrolet, joining teammates Justin Lofton and Cale Gale. The 19 year old driver ran in 13 of 22 races this past season splitting his time between the Joe Dennette Motorsports team and ESR. His finishes with ESR were a 22nd at Atlanta, 23rd at Kentucky, 11th at Martinsville, a 12th at Texas, and a 23rd at the season finale at Homestead. Per Twitter, Gresham said “I am happy to be with ESR again! The team is a proven winner with Lofton and Gale, and now it’s my turn.” As for ESR’s other drivers, no word on sponsorship for Lofton in the #6 Chevrolet. He started the year with CollegeComplete.com on the truck, but they left midway through the year. They were replaced with a rotation of sponsors which included Lofton’s family cattle business. Gale will drive the #33 Chevrolet, but is losing sponsor Rheem, which was on the truck last year. Word on the street is they do have a replacement, just no announcement has been made just yet.
