DOVER, DE (May 19, 1984) – Sam Ard was victorious in the Budweiser 200 from the Dover International Speedway, leading 155 of the 200 scheduled laps that day. Ron Bouchard, Jack Ingram, Davey Allison, and Tommy Houston rounded out the top-5 that day. Ard won the race driving his famous #00 Thomas Brothers Country Ham Oldsmobile by a mere foot over Bouchard in his #15 Hendrick Honda Pontiac. Only 22 cars raced with Sprint Cup regulars Bobby Allison (6th) and Morgan Shepherd (16th) having mixed results. Below are the complete results from that day.
