Only the Kentucky Speedway remains on Jeff Gordon's 'To Do List'. Jeff Gordon has 87-Sprint Cup Series trophies in his legendary trophy case. But, he is still missing one. Kentucky. The four-time NASCAR Cup champ has at least one victory on every other track on the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, but not Kentucky. Heading in to the 2012 season, Gordon needed to cross Kentucky and Homestead-Miami Speedway off his winless list. He crossed Homestead-Miami off the list at last year’s season ending championship showdown when Brad Keselowski won the championship and Gordon won the race. A year ago Gordon was close at Kentucky Speedway, finishing 5th behind teammates Kasey Kahne (second) and Dale Earnhardt Jr. (fourth). His other teammate, five-time champ Jimmie Johnson, finished 6th - putting all Hendrick Motorsports cars in the top-10.
