It seems crazy but Tony Stewart and Joey Logano both agree on something. That is both drivers are moving forward from their Fontana clash and putting it behind them. “I’ve got three race cars and we are in Martinsville, Virginia this week.  I’ve got a lot of stuff to do other than worry about something that happened two weeks ago.  I can’t change it.  I can’t do anything about what happened two weeks ago.  All I can do is worry about our Rush Truck Centers Chevrolet, our GoDaddy Chevrolet and our Quicken Loans Chevrolet.  That is the three things that I can control right now.  That is what I have to focus on.  I can’t waste time worrying about what happened two weeks ago.  I gave everybody more than ample time to ask me all the questions they wanted two weeks ago about what happened two weeks ago.  It’s time to move on from here,” Stewart told reporters Friday from the Martinsville Speedway. “I feel like with Tony and I, I think it’s pretty much over.  We have not talked to each other, but we had an off-weekend and time to relax a little bit and cool off, so I feel like that’s over.  I feel like we’re moving on.  I think we’re both out there trying to improve on what we’ve got already,” Logano said. Logano went into a little bit more brushing off Stewart’s post-race reaction and comments as being the heat of the moment. “You can say the same thing about my comments after the race.  It’s heat of the moment.  He just got off of pit road with a shoving match and so did I, and we’re all fired up.  Then you stick a microphone in our face and we’re not ready for it, so you’re going to say things that you may or may not mean.  When you get some time to cool off a little bit, your comments change quite a bit.  That’s one of the tough things about our sports.  In most sports, you have time to cool off before they stick a microphone in your face,” commented Logano. Both drivers are saying the right things for now, knowing that Martinsville is a very tight small track that is known for bumping and grinding and tempers flaring. As Stewart pointed out, it’ll be interesting to see if Logano learned something from Fontana or not. “We won’t know that until we see how he reacts in that same situation the next time,” said Stewart. Just remember this, if you block the #14, odds are you will get dumped. The cars will get racing in about a half an hour from now so we’ll see early how these drivers race with each other, and others.
