What better way is there to get back at the team that let you go than to sign with one of their biggest rivals? That is exactly what Carlos Arroyo did following being released by the Miami Heat after the Heat decided to go down a different path at the point guard position by signing Mike Bibby.
With Rajon Rondo and Delonte West dealing with injuries, Danny Ainge brought Carlos Arroyo on board as a premium insurance plan for the point guard position. Arroyo played his first game with the Celtics on March 9th against the Los Angeles Clippers. He played 15 minutes in that game.
