Found March 22, 2013 on Celtics Green ...a boston celtics blog.:
Well, great. Tonight, the Celtics play the Mavericks down in Dallas. Boy, I just can't wait to watch them struggle against another awful team. This last week really only had one hard game scheduled(the Heat game), which they lost. I'm fine with that one, but not the close home wins or the loss in New Orleans. Anyway, if they attempt to follow these five things they might win: 5. GET GREEN TO STAY HOT: In New Orleans, Jeff Green scored 11 out of his 13 points in the first quarter. So, his performance pretty much didn't matter. They need him to play great a lot more consistently. 4. FIX TERRY: On Wednesday, Jason Terry did not score a single point. That performance was completely pathetic. They need this guy to make a few threes every game. Not just jack up stupid sh*t. 3. LIMIT BRADLEY'S SHOTS: In the last week, Avery Bradley's shot has gone from amazing to depressing. Against the Hornets, Bradley shot just 2/10 from the field. Once he starts missing shots, stop giving him attempts. He's very cocky. 2. GIVE LEE MORE SHOTS: In New Orleans, Courtney Lee scored an OK 5 points on 2/3 shooting. He scored as many points on 3 shots as Bradley scored on 10 shots. Here's an insane thought, give the better shooter more shots. 1. PLAY HARD FOR 48 MINUTES: On Wednesday, the Celtics only played their hardest for the first twenty-four minutes. They need to play harder for longer. If they would've put up the same effort in the second half as they did in the first, they would've definitely won. Tip-off for tonight's game will be at 8:30 pm ET. You can see it on CSN-NE.

Video: Avery Bradley posterizes Ed Davis

I like how Bradley just handles his business and runs back on defense. No need to show up Davis with extended mean mugging after the dunk. And unlike DeAndre Jordan and LeBron James dunking on MUCH smaller players, here we have Bradley, who's not much taller than 6 feet, dunking on a legit 6'10" big man. Much more impressive. Should Jeff Green remain in the starting line-up?

Some guys are just better as starters. Jeff Green is one of them. Whereas players like Jason Terry and Jamal Crawford thrive off the bench, others need to start to bring the most out of them. McHale was able to handle a bench role. Cedric Maxwell wasn't. For that reason Max started and McHale came off the bench. And when McHale took over the starting spot permanently, Maxwell...

LeBron Says Dunk Was Sweeter Because It Was on Jason Terry

Jason Terry is one of the main reasons, LeBron only has only one ring and not two, so I am not surprised he took pleasure in taking Terry’s soul. I am a little surprised he publicly admitted it, but little by little, the villain in LeBron is starting to come out. “It was one of my better ones,” James said. “And the fact that it happened to J.T. made it even that much sweeter...

Jeff Green, Celtics Have Proven They Can Play With Elites, But Need to Take Care of Business Against Dregs

Well, that was awkward. Just two days after the world could not stop singing the Celtics’ praises after a loss, of all things, the green team went out Wednesday and laid an egg in the second half in the Big Easy. With the aid of a putrid third quarter, in which they shot 5-for-18 and mustered all of 12 points, the Celtics squandered a comfortable lead for the second time in two...

Your Morning Dump… Where Jeff Green has earned a lot of playing time

Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here… highlighting the big storyline. Because there’s nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump. C’s coach Doc Rivers, who ripped his team’s performance in New Orleans, only played Green 26 minutes and resorted to another off-balanced Paul Pierce isolation jumper in the 87-86 loss. Even Ainge seemed...

5 Things Celtics must do to win tonight - Grizzlies 3/23

After losing a few winnable games to bad teams, the Celtics will play an actual good team tonight when they visit the Grizzlies. This Boston team has just looked terrible recently. A win tonight would definitely give them some much-needed momentum. Let's hope they get it. Here are tonight's five things: 5. STOP LETTING BRADLEY SHOOT: In Dallas, Avery Bradley shot just 4...

Tired and Uninspired: Boston Celtics lose to Dallas Mavericks

Jason Terry was uninspiring in his return to Dallas.Eight-point leads are such a tease. On a night when most people were more interested in the college basketball games on TV, the Celtics looked equally uninterested in the proceedings. Every time Boston went on a run and cut the lead to six, eight or ten points, the Mavericks responded with a 3-pointer or a pair of baskets to push...

Celtics Might Be Long Shots to Make Deep Playoff Run, But Oddsmakers Like C’s Over Nets, Hawks, Bulls

Yeah, we’ve all seen it by now: Jason Terry got put on a poster. Not a poster, but a milk carton. Worse yet, the Boston Celtics fell two points short of the reigning champion Miami Heat in their mid-March rematch. Sometimes it’s necessary to taste the sour sensation of suffering before one can truly rise from the ashes. Fans looking to bet on the NBA playoff chase, take note...

LeBron adds a little trash talk to his dunk on Terry

By now, we have all gotten caught up in the debate of whose “posterization” was better, LeBron James on Jason Terry or DeAndre Jordan on Brandon Knight. I am still giving the edge to Jordan, but I have no doubt that Terry is having a few nightmares. After a dunk like that, you know reporters and members of the media are going to be asking you all kinds of questions. You can...

LeBron James Pleased With Dunk Over Jason Terry: Im Glad It Happened To Him

LeBron James is pleased with his monster alley-oop poster on Jason Terry, not only because it was one of the “better” dunks of his career, but also because it was to the humiliation of Jason Terry, who “talks too much sometimes”. According to ABC News: “It’s one of my better ones and the fact that it happened to J.T. makes it even that much sweeter because we all know...

Your Morning Dump… Where the basketball gods messed with the Celtics

Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here… highlighting the big storyline. Hornets 87, Celtics 86

Anthony Davis outreached Kevin Garnett and Jeff Green for a last-second tip-in, and the New Orleans Hornets snapped a four-game skid with an 87-86 victory over the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night. Davis was playing despite missing the morning shootaround with an illness, and finished with nine points and eight rebounds. Ryan Anderson scored 21 points and Eric Gordon 18 for the...
