The Philadelphia 76ers bounced back from a horrific home loss to the lowly Sacramento Kings, with a 97-85 victory over the Eastern Conference leading Chicago Bulls on the road, Monday night.
Thaddeus Young led the 76ers with 21 points off the bench. Also,the 76ers had six players finish in double-figures. Including a great effort by Andre Iguodala who finished with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists in the win.
The 76ers followed up perhaps their worst loss of the season, with one of their best. Solidifying themselves as one of the “dark horses” of the Eastern Conference. The win is their second straight over the Bulls after losing the first meeting by 45 points.
The 76ers held one of the best offenses in the league to only 41 % shooting from the field and forced 17 Chicago turnovers. Their biggest lead was 23, though they never trailed.
