TEAMS: Detroit Pistons, Boston Celtics, New Orleans Hornets, Portland Trail Blazers
Via Marc Spears:The Celtics have said they would match any reasonable offer for Davis. The Detroit Pistons, New Orleans Hornets and Portland Trail Blazers,
league sources said, tried to work a sign-and-trade deal for Davis only
to be rebuffed by the Celtics. Boston did offer Davis and guards J.R. Giddens and Gabe Pruitt to the Pistons for forward Jason Maxiell and a first-round pick, but was quickly turned down. That sounds like a fair trade to me. I'm sure Pistons fans are laughing as they read this, but they overvalue Maxiell. We heard Natalie from Need4Sheed.com say so during The Two Man Show. They're both undersized big men. BBD is a much better offensive player, while Maxiell is the better defender. Although Rondo didn't think much of him as he soared to the rim in that YouTube clip. I'd rather have Davis.Spears also reports the Nets interest in Glen Davis.

Stephon Marbury is the most interesting man in the world
I truly believe that.Tuesday night, Stephon Marbury jumped on Ustream — a popular video streaming website once hijacked by Eddy Curry poltergeists — to answer a few questions. What started as a simple show marred by technical difficulties quickly turned into an epic two-hour Q&A rant still marred by technical difficulties. (Neither Marbs nor his "IT department...
The Celtics Tried To Trade Big Baby For Jason Maxiell
While word surfaced this week that the Nets were among the teams interested in Glen Davis, one interesting trade proposal came to light: Davis, J.R. Giddens and Gabe Pruitt to the Pistons for Jason Maxiell and a first-round pick.
While this deal was apparently quickly turned down, I do like where Boston’s head is at. [...]
intricate trade idea
(Editor's Note: this is actually pretty decent idea from Trey - hopefully he did his homework and it works in the trade checker... - G17)I know its just speculation, but it's not unreasonable. I'm basing this off of rumors that Miller may go to portland and new orleans expressing interest in big baby. here it goes:

Where The Celtics Are at Right Now and Where They Will Be
The Green have recently signed big-man Rasheed Wallace and are on the way to signing Marquis Daniels as I write. Kevin Garnett has successfully come off his injury. Things are looking great for the Celtics right now. They have great depth on both ends of the court.
We saw how the Celtics struggled in the playoffs last year. They played without Kevin Garnett but lasted until the Conference...
Battle Of The Guards: The Top Backcourts in the NBA
Backcourts make the game move. The point guard is finding the player with the best shot, and that usually is the shooting guard. Together, they might be two of the most important positions in the game of basketball.
There are many great backcourts in the league, but I have narrowed it down. 12 players, six backcourts, here is the list in no particular order.
Rajon Rondo and Ray...
