Perk and Pollard sat out practice today. Pollard woke up with a sore back and Perk apparently dropped part of his bed on his toe. You can't make things like this up. Read the whole article for details.

Ron Artest is one of the toughest matchups for Paul Pierce on both ends of the floor. Ron Ron will do anything he can to stop a player from scoring as you can see from the video. Pierce gets the last word, though, by hitting a 3 while pulling up his shorts.

Mike Gorman called the game "business-like" for the Celtics. That's the nice way to describe their performance. I think they couldn't get themselves up for a decidedly weaker opponent.
