The Celtics are back, healthy, and on a mission. Rasheed looks like he has been playing with them for years. I don't see how this ends well.
Yea we no chance whatsoever of winning this game. Maybe it will be a bit closer than I think because the Celtics are looking past us but they'll still blow us out.
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and pick the Wolves to win.
For the remaining ex-Celtics, Jefferson + Gomes, this is still a lil personal I think, and would hope that they'd wanna stick it to their old team.
BTW, please don't expect a good game out of Flynn, Ellington, Turbo, or Hollins. The Celtics prey on young, insecure players.
I do hope that Kevin gets some serious love from the Target Center. But please, if you go to the game, don't cheer for the damn Celtics
This is going to be ugly for the Wolves. C's are on a mission.
This ain't gonna be pretty. We lose big at every position except maybe C and Big Al isn't 100% yet. ...

Shelden Williams has been a pleasant surprise for the Boston Celtics so far
Shelden Williams was an afterthought when he was signed by the Celtics over the summer. But with his solid play in the pre-season he earned a spot on the bench. He has played in 4 games (0 starts) for the Celtics so far this season and he is averaging 17.3 minutes, 7.0 points, [...]
Oleksiy Pecherov shining for Wolves
Ray Richardson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports (via blog):
Timberwolves forward Oleksiy Pecherov has become the team’s most improved player, and he’s done it in the past three games. When Pecherov, as Wolves coach Kurt Rambis puts it, “learns how to compete in this league and gets a better understanding of our offense and [...]
Random Thoughts on Win #5
The starters once again got off to a slow start and once again it wasn't until the reserves came in that the team picked up. Sheed, in particular was the spark plug to jump start this team. Sheed seems to be a perfect fit for this team and appears to be relishing his role off the bench. He finished with 20 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 block in 23 minutes. I'd say...
How Rondo's deal breaks down
Woj has the numbers:Annual breakdown of Rondo's $55 million deal: '10-11: $9.09 mil'11-12: $10.04 mil'12-13: $11 million'13-14: $11.9 million'14-15: $12.9 millionThe $9.09 million help alleviate some of the luxury tax hit... but the C's can fill out a good roster next year. They've got 6 people under contract for sure (Pierce, KG, Sheed, Rondo, Baby, Perk). I see the team packaging...
Young, smart, stoked
When was the last time the Bucks had a player with this much natural ability and personality in one package? Probably Ray Allen, and you saw what he did for the organization. If there was ever a right player at the right time for a franchise starving for success and attention, Brandon Jennings just might be it.

Comments from the Other Side - Sixers 11/3
For the most part, Philly fans weren't expecting a win in this game but they were hoping for a competitive game. Unfortunately, their team didn't comply and it ended up another Celtic blowout. It amazes me when fans bash their own team instead of realizing that the Celtics are just playing that well.
Did any of you watch Boston dismantle the Bulls? Offensively they...
Your Morning Dump... where the second unit is just too much
Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them

Boston Celtics 92, Minnesota Timberwolves 90
The Celtics had to fight hard against the T-Wolves last night to win. The T-Wolves shot 52% from the floor last night but it wasn’t enough to down the Celtics. Rajon Rondo led the way for the Celtics last night with 18 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals. Ray Allen [...]
