While we applaud Greg Oden's interest and activism in politics, his rationale is a bit hard to comprehend and relate to. He alludes to "young people like him," but how many young people do you know "like him?" 7' 20-year olds who were #1 overall picks in the NBA draft and sign $20-some-million contracts with no degree or professional work experience...

Therefore, Simmons had the top pick and predictably he made himself look like an idiot. There is an interesting discussion going on over at the Moonblog. Who would you pick of the four if you were building a franchise right now, Amare Stoudemire, Chris Bosh, Greg Oden or Dwight Howard?
There is probably no wrong answer here, but I think I'd go with Dwight Howard. He's an absolute stud inside and he's only 21. He's still devoloping his offensive game...
