BostonSportZ.com:
Celtic Hero, James Posey (speaking through his agent, Mark Bartelstein) helped ease the fears of C's fans everywhere, stating that he truly wants to return to Boston and help defend our title. Now, in no way does this mean Posey is a lock to remain a Celtic, and he's still opting out of his contract on July 1st, but if he's sincere (and I believe he is), he may give us a slight discount to return. Anyway, here's what he (aka, his agent) had to say:"...he really hopes that (the Celtics) want him back as much as he wants to stay there."“The bottom line is that we want to get it done. The thing (that impressed) Posey is that the fans in Boston are so educated, they understand why he’s so valuable, and how his play shows with things that aren’t on the stat sheet.”“There will be a lot of interest. Who wouldn’t want him? But he loves it in Boston - the ownership, Danny, Doc, the players. He wants to come back.” Thankfully, Ainge seems dead-set on bringing him back.“We want James back,” Ainge said. “We need to come to an agreement, and that starts on July 1." In other news, things aren't looking good for a PJ Brown return. “He’s of the mind-set that his career is over,” Ainge said. “But he also hasn’t completely closed the door on things, so we’ll have to see how it works.” While I don't really want to lose PJ, it wouldn't be the end of the world. Losing Posey, on the other hand, could be disastrous.

2. (60) Semih Erden, C
The Celtics took a flier on Erden with the last pick in the NBA Draft. Erden is a 6′11″, 240 pound center from Turkey. He has a lot of pro experience overseas but he wasn’t that productive. Erden has played in 132 games (93 starts) in pro ball overseas and he has [...]
2. (47) Bill Walker, SG
The Celtics acquried shooting guard Bill Walker from the Wizards for cold, hard cash. Walker is 6′6″, 220 pounds and he has a lot of the same skills as J.R. Giddens (the Celtics’ first round pick). Walker played in 37 games (33 starts) at Kansas State and he averaged 15.3 points, 6.0 rebounds [...]

Celtics: Who On Earth Is Bill Walker?
I love this pick. You may know him as Michael Beasley's teammate at Kansas State. You'll soon know him as a beast in his own right.
Shopping for a Free Agent Center?
With PJ Brown pretty much decided that he will retire, the Celtics will be in the market for a center to back up Perk. The Celtics will need to find someone to sign for the veteran minimum and also someone who will buy into Ubuntu. Scot Pollard could be an option, but with his injury history, it wouldn't be wise to depend on him. The Celtics should look elsewhere.
Here is...
Celtics Get 2 Players in Second Round
In a surprise move, Danny once again picked up a player in the late second round in a trade. Danny received Walker from the Wizards, who picked him 47th, for cash considerations. Walker is a 6'6", 235 lb small forward.
Last year Walker was projected as a lottery pick before suffering another ACL injury. He's still very explosive, with an NBA body. If he can stay healthy...
Paul Pierce Has Some Fun With His Game One Injury On Kimmel
Paul Pierce was on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night and after Kimmel fulfilled a promise to eat Pierce's headband during the intro the Finals MVP showed up in style....by wheelchair....
That was hilarious and the whole interview is pretty good as well (8 minutes!). Check it out over at Boston Sportz.

What to Do Until October
Here we are a couple of weeks after the Championship and I'm already getting bored. I'm right in the heart of the Boston area and people are already starting to forget about this 17th win. Yeah, the shirts are still being bought, but the Red Sox, as always, are being talked about more.
So now what am I supposed to do for the next few months? I don't watch baseball...

That's the best way to show you're sincere. Have someone else say it for you.
this is my biggest concern. we have a lot of big checks to write. i'm sure that by july 1, posey will have a ton of offers on his plate. his agent will obviously push him toward more money (what up, commission?) but i hope that the pierce/allen/garnett influence will be worth something to posey
