    That way when Posey skips town for more money, no one can say that he really wanted to be in Boston. Because he never said it.

  Posey wanted to stay in Miami too, but the team just didn't have the money to sign him. We'll see what Boston does. Posey should command some really good offers for teams looking for a final piece of a championship puzzle.

    this is my biggest concern. we have a lot of big checks to write. i'm sure that by july 1, posey will have a ton of offers on his plate. his agent will obviously push him toward more money (what up, commission?) but i hope that the pierce/allen/garnett influence will be worth something to posey

    Uh, he has two rings now, I don't think he'd stay just for the chance to win another. He needs to keep getting paid and the C's simply won't have enough.
