Randy Foye gobbling up minutes, Glen Taylor bad business man

Foye, the Wolves discounted purchase in this year's draft, has gotten the most court time of his young career these past two games. Against the Mavericks on the 27th, Coach Dwayne Casey had Foye on the court for 26 minutes, and on November 28th, against the Rockets, for 24 minutes. These season highs in minutes correlated directly to season lows in minutes these past two games for Timberwolves off-season bling, Mike James. Oh yeah, and the Wolves lost again.

This strategy - letting poorly timed rookie selections devalue the investment of poorly timed player acquisitions - will flash it's wobblies some more when Rashad McCants returns from injury to take minutes away from Ricky Davis. Combine that with a duel for minutes between highly paid Trenton Hassel (horrible! absolute garbage!) and Marko Jaric (deserving of the most court time), you've got for nasty team practices, horribly coached games, and a huge financial hit to Wolves owner, Glen Taylor.
