Consider me firmly in place on the Leon Powe bandwagon. There is just so much about this kid to like. He is finally getting playing time for the Celtics and as always, he is making the most of his playing time. Better get on the Leon Powe bandwagon now before it gets too crowded.

Celtics get KO against Mavs without KG
This was a statement game for the Celtics to beat the Mavs minus KG. I just love the fact that the team finds ways to win, despite the absence of one of its stars. You always get a glimpse of hidden gems on the bench when the rotations are forced to be shuffled to due to injury.
For player of the game, it would be difficult to chose between the other big three that came up big...
Ray Allen Belongs on that All-Star Team
I can't quite get over the fact that Ray Allen was passed over as an All-Star reserve. The All-Star selections were announced on Thursday prior to the Celtics tilt against the Mavericks, and a lot has come out since then with regard to the biggest snubs, and Ray Allen certainly ranks as one of them. If you love these Celtics and respect what they've accomplished this season...

Rondo is my hero! I loved nothing more than watching him take the ball from Nowitzki. Rajon seems to be at the top of his game right now. What an amazing time to pull out a double-double. Please tell me I wasn't only the one cheering my heart out!!

KG will miss his third game tonight as the Celtics face the Mavs. Ray Allen will be playing however. It may be very ugly if Doc insists on playing Scal on Dirk.

In a game with 35 lead changes and 51 ties, the Celtics outlasted the Mavericks without KG who sat out his third game. Rajon Rondo out rebounded the centers and power forwards on both teams as he had an absolutely incredible game. James Posey came up with huge plays down the stretch. Paul Pierce and Ray Allen scored 26 points apiece to pace the Celtics to their 36th win of the season.

I hate it when young stars have such promising futures but the light, game time, and press for the superstars overshadow them that they cannot break out. Hopefully KG and Ray can nurture this guy along. I say this will all honestly he will be the future of the east. If he gets traded to a team where he can be a starter with solid minutes people better look out.
I second the motion to be on the Bandwagon. Great write up man, thanks for the post. Its always cool when people give other players other then the superstars good press.
