Time to shut Brandon Roy Down
The Playoffs are out of sight, and the fat lady is just about ready to sing on the Blazers season, let's face it, it's time to shut Brandon Roy down for the year and focus on getting the young guys on the Blazers roster some playing time. Lastnight Roy suffered a strained groin, an injury that if not treated correctly, could last six to eight weeks. It's not worth it...Brandon is our franchise, our leader. He's played game sick, tired, and hurt all season long. It's not worth it to put his body through wear and tear when we are not going to make the playoffs. I'm not saying tank the season. I'm saying, the Blazers need to be smart about the rest of their season.
