The 76ers won their third in a row, beating the Raptors 107-94, Wednesday night in Toronto.
The 76ers had 7 players finish in double-figures. Marreese Speights led the way with a season-high 23 points, coming off the bench. The 76er bench, which is the highest scoring in the NBA, continued to contribute, outscoring the Toronto bench 58-17.
The Sixers started the game cold trailing by nine after one quarter. Shooting only 36% percent from the field in the 1st quarter, the Sixers bounced back, and were tied at 50 at halftime. The Sixers pulled away to begin the 2nd half, scoring 34 points in the 3rd quarter.
Toronto’s DeMar DeRozan led all scorers with 29 points, though the 76ers were able to hold the rest of Toronto in check.
The Sixers out-rebounded Toronto 43-33. Shot nearly 50% from the field and played strong defense down the stretch.
The loss is Toronto’s ninth in a row, the win for the Sixers snaps a 5-game road losing streak.
