The first-round NCAA Tournament Midwest Region matchup between the Gonzaga Bulldogs and McNeese State Cowboys showcases a battle of conflicting play styles when the two take center stage in Salt Lake City on Thursday.

Gonzaga (25-7, 14-2 WCC) and its up-tempo, post-heavy offense will look to avoid the upset from the 12-seed McNeese State (30-3, 17-1 Southland) and its slow-paced offense. The Cowboys rank 282nd in adjusted offensive tempo per KenPom, yet they forced turnovers on the defensive end at the sixth-highest rate of any team in the country. That combination of tempo and pressure can throw a loop the Zags' way if they are unable to assert their style of play.

Former Gonzaga All-Americans Dan Dickau and Adam Morrison broke down the Bulldogs' keys to victory against the Cowboys, and much more, on a new episode of Talking Zags.
