With a full day of practice behind him today, "The Brazilian Blur," Leandro Barbosa is officially a member of the 2012-13 Boston Celtics. With a journeyman career that saw stops in Phoenix, Toronto and Indiana, Barbosa's pretty happy to be in Green. "I've been to Phoenix, I know how (winning) is and with this team I know it's going to be (demanded)," he said in a recent interview. "And I'm very, very excited. I mean there's no words I can explain to you how I feel right now. I just want to work, give them what they expect, and win games and a championship. In my mind I have the championship and I'm sure those guys have the same thing. So we're going to work together and I'm down for that too." Everybody's down for #18. That's what it's all about.

This is good news as Wilcox’s back looked to be a lingering problem, the fact that he is game-ready after one practice is a testament to his offseason work ethic and eagerness to get back on the court. His addition to the front court rotation could be huge, as he gives the Celtics more size down low which seems to be their biggest weakness. Wilcox will join the other bigs fighting...

WALTHAM, Mass. -- Ray Allen has been busy this week filling

After opening training camp three days earlier than any other team, the Celtics find themselves with an unusually long duration between games this week.
