Amar’e Stoudemire has still not been cleared to return to the Knicks, and as his teammates prepare for their first round matchup with the Celtics, Stoudemire has been promoting his EPIX documentary, “Amar’e Stoudemire: In The Moment,” which premieres on April 19. That still didn’t stop Amar’e from giving his opinion on his teams chances against the Celtics.  Stoudemire is so confident that he “guaranteed” the Knicks would win the first round series against the Boston Celtics according to ESPN New York.  We’re going to win that first round for sure,” he said on Thursday night in New York City during a screening of his upcoming EPIX documentary, “Amar’e Stoudemire: In The Moment,” which premieres on April 19. “Obviously, as we all know, with the Celtics, you can never underestimate those guys. We’ve got to definitely come to play every game, and bring that focus and determination every single night. I have high confidence in what we can do.” “I think we have a great chance to win the title,” Stoudemire said. ‘We have a great leader in Carmelo, we have a great team that’s surrounding him, so we like our chances.” Amar’e is doing a lot of talking for a guy who won’t have the responsibility of backing it up.
